Grounding in Gratitude
Yoga Retreat
October 31st-November 5th, 2025
Kawoq Forest in Guatemala
Join us in a 5 night immersive yoga retreat nestled in the verdant Guatemalan highlands, overlooking the ancient azure waters of Lake Atitlán. This retreat is for anyone looking to relax, reset, ground and connect. We will offer vinyasa yoga, gentle yoga, movement workshops, meditation and breathwork so you can personalize each day in a way that feels best for you.

Meet Your Facilitator
Nico is a multi-faceted movement instructor who draws on powerful & creative flows to connect with the deeper spirituality of the yoga practice. Her classes & workshops will emphasize the way that movement makes you feel, not just how it looks.
Location
This retreat is held at Kawoq Forest near San Marcos La Laguna of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. Kawoq Forest is IN the forest, meaning that from the drop off point, the retreat space is a 20 minute hike through the jungle! November is the perfect time to visit Guatemala because it is the first dry month after rainy season .... so everything is green but you won't be in rain everyday.

Food
There will be two Guatemalan inspired meals per day with a hearty snack in between. All food is vegetarian and made with love by local women. Kawoq Forest is able to serve vegan and gluten free meals upon request. There is a cafe on site if you would like to purchase additional food.

Please Read Before Booking
As you book your spot, please keep in mind that this is a true eco-retreat experience, fully immersed in the jungle. The journey in includes a 20-minute hike from the road, and you’ll have the option to hire a local porter for $10 to help carry your luggage.
Accommodations are simple, rustic, and connected to the earth. We’ll be using shared compost toilets and shared outdoor showers. We’ll also be sharing space with the local wildlife—yes, that includes spiders, scorpions, and plenty of jungle sounds.
That said, it’s absolutely worth it. You’ll wake up surrounded by the sounds of the forest, take in breathtaking views, and feel the deep nourishment that comes from being completely held by nature. We invite you to embrace the adventure with an open heart—it’s all part of the magic.
